Welcome

By using Soft Play Scout (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above tells you when they last changed.

What we are

Soft Play Scout is a free directory of UK soft play centres. We aggregate publicly available information (opening hours, prices, facilities) about venues we don’t own or operate. We make reasonable effort to keep the information accurate but don’t guarantee it.

Always check directly with the venue before travelling — opening hours, prices, age limits, and special sessions can change at short notice.

Using the Site

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of our data without permission.
• Submit false or misleading information through any form on the Site.
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Site (rate-limit evasion, security probing, etc.).
• Impersonate a venue you don’t represent to claim a listing.

User-submitted content

If you submit a venue, claim a listing, or contact us, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use that content to operate and improve the Site. You confirm that you have the right to share the content you submit.

Venue listings

Listings are free. We don’t charge venues to appear, and we don’t hide negative information for paying advertisers. Premium features for owners (custom photos, booking links, analytics) may be paid in future; if so, terms will be made clear at signup.

Advertising

We display ads via Mediavine. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content. We don’t allow advertisers to influence which venues we feature, rank highly, or recommend.

Affiliate links

We may include affiliate links to booking partners (e.g. for tickets, parties, or related products). If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which venues we list or how they’re ranked.

Intellectual property

The Site’s design, copy, and original content are ours. Venue logos, photos, and branding belong to the respective venue owners. UK and EU copyright applies.

Disclaimers and liability

The Site is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that any particular venue is still operating, safe, or suitable for your child. To the extent permitted by UK law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses (lost trips, disappointed children, wasted petrol, etc.).

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
