About Soft Play Scout
A small UK directory built so parents can answer one question quickly: where can we go this Saturday morning?
Why we exist
Searching for soft play near you usually means scrolling through old Google Maps reviews, half-broken Facebook pages, and venue websites that haven’t been updated since 2019. We wanted somewhere that just answered the basics: where it is, how much it costs, what age it’s aimed at, whether there’s a cafe, whether it does SEN sessions.
So we built it.
What you’ll find
- 1,500+ verified UK soft play centres, every one cross-checked against multiple sources before it’s published.
- Real prices, real opening hours — not just a link to a venue’s website. We pull these in fresh and flag anything that looks stale.
- Filters that match how parents actually search — by age, by SEN-friendly sessions, by cafe, by free parking, by toddler zones.
- A map that shows the surrounding area, not just one town. If you’re on the edge of Manchester, you can see Salford, Stockport, and Bury at the same time.
How we make money
The site is free to use. We pay the bills with a small number of unobtrusive ads (via Mediavine) and, where they make sense, affiliate links to ticket-booking partners. We don’t take money to rank a venue higher, hide negative reviews, or feature a venue we wouldn’t otherwise. Listings are free for owners — claiming a listing is also free, see the For Venues page.
How we keep it accurate
Soft play centres open and close, change prices, and tweak opening hours all the time. We aim to refresh every venue at least quarterly, and we treat owner-submitted updates as the highest priority.
Spotted something out of date? Tell us — corrections usually go live within a day or two.
Who’s behind it
We’re a small UK-based team that was tired of Saturday mornings spent debating where to go. If you’d like to get in touch — feedback, suggestions, complaints — head to the contact page.
